US President Donald Trump announced that Israel has agreed to the conditions necessary for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza.
In a message on the social network Truth Social, he stated, “My representatives had a long and productive meeting with Israeli officials today regarding Gaza.”
During this ceasefire, we will work with all parties to end the war.
Trump expressed hope that Hamas would accept the deal and warned that the situation would worsen if it did not.
He also appreciated the tireless efforts of Qatar and Egypt to present a final proposal to end the war in Gaza.
According to Axios Run, Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Dermer confirmed in a meeting with Steve Whitakoff, the US special envoy for the Middle East, that Israel accepts the offer made by Qatar and is ready to begin indirect negotiations with Hamas to finalize the agreement.
