Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has praised the efforts of US President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine.
According to Reuters, Lavrov has accused the European powers of trying to prolong the conflict.
He added that “Donald Trump is a pragmatist and his slogan is common sense in the sense that everyone can witness the change of approach in American policies.
Lavrov also stated that Washington and Moscow will never agree on all issues, but in cases where their interests are aligned, they can cooperate pragmatically.
