Donald Trump, the new president of the United States, announced that he has chosen Pete Hegst, the host of Fox News and a veteran of the United States Army, as his secretary of defense.
In announcing his decision, Trump praised Hoggst, an Army National Guard veteran who served in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Reuters wrote.
He said in a statement that Pete is tough, smart and believes in America. With Pete’s election, our military will be great again and America will never back down.
