America imposed new sanctions against Russian media

In a statement on Friday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken described Rashatudi as an unofficial arm of the Russian intelligence apparatus.

“Rashatudi is part of a Russian state-sponsored media network that is covertly trying to undermine democracy in the United States,” the senior US diplomat told reporters.

US officials have accused Iran and Russia of trying to influence the US presidential election in the past few days.

These accusations are expressed while Moscow and Tehran emphasize that the politicians of both American parties have not differed from each other in terms of adopting hostile positions.

Russia’s Rashtody network broadcast Blinken’s remarks live on Channel X, calling it “the latest example of America’s conspiracy.”

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also said the United States should take action to create a new job for the sanctions imposed against Russia.
