Putin arrived in Mongolia on an official visit
Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Mongolia for an official visit, the Kremlin said.
Putin’s arrival in Mongolia comes as the International Criminal Court in The Hague last year called on its member states to arrest Putin on “war crimes” charges.
As one of the signatories of the Rome Statute, Mongolia is required to arrest Vladimir Putin if he visits this country.
At the same time as this trip, Human Rights Watch and Ukraine asked Mongolia to prevent Putin from entering this country or arrest him after his arrival.
