Germany rejects visa applications of 32 Afghans in Pakistan

The German government has rejected visa applications from 32 Afghan citizens in Pakistan who were previously promised transfer to Germany.

Earlier, the German Constitutional Court had ruled that the government could not refuse to transfer vulnerable Afghans without a separate examination of each case.

According to German media reports, the country’s Ministry of Interior announced that it reviewed the aforementioned cases separately following the court ruling, but ultimately rejected all 32 requests.
