US President Donald Trump claimed again on Wednesday morning that the war with Iran would end soon, and that energy prices would drop significantly as a result.
In a speech to Republican supporters, Trump said that Iran would never obtain a nuclear weapon. He also criticized the nuclear deal signed during President Barack Obama’s presidency and claimed that his administration had paid billions of dollars to Iran.
The US President continued by making threats against Iran, saying that Washington would take action, adding that, according to him, Iran was in a critical situation and that the US would teach the country a difficult lesson.
Trump also claimed that facilities or materials related to Iran’s nuclear program were buried under thousands of tons of rock, however, he did not provide specific details about when the war would end or possible future actions.
