Today, October 7, 2026, marks the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, an operation launched on October 7, 2023 by the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas against the positions of the Zionist regime of Israel.
In a statement marking the anniversary, Hamas called October 7 a historic milestone and considered efforts to limit the start of the fighting to this day a distortion of reality.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also called Operation Storm al-Aqsa a turning point in the regional equations in a statement, saying that this operation challenged the occupying regime’s notion of invincibility.
At the same time, the media reported that rallies and protests were being held in parts of the occupied territories, including in Qaysarya near Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence; some protesters have called for an investigation into the events and security implications of October 7.
Marches and rallies in support of the people of Gaza and Palestine have been held in a number of cities around the world, including Turkey.
