The US Congressional Research Service has announced in a new report that 81 American aircraft, helicopters, and drones have been damaged or destroyed during military aggression against Iran; this list was prepared based on media reports, statements from the US Department of War and Central Command, and reports from the Department of War’s Inspector General.
According to this report, 12 F-15s, one – two, 10 – seven KC-135 refueling aircraft, one E-Sentry, two MC-130s, and 45 MQ-9 drones are on this list.
Also reported damaged or destroyed were one Apache helicopter, one MQ-4 drone, three MQ-1 drones, one search and rescue helicopter, four AH-6 helicopters, and one Sea Hawk helicopter.
The US Congressional report says that this figure may change as new information is received and that a number of damaged planes and helicopters have returned to service.
