Iranian-American member of the US House of Representatives, Yasmin Ansari, has condemned the deadly attack by US forces on a wedding ceremony in Kohstak, Sirik District, Iran, and called Donald Trump’s war “aimless and without a plan.”
“Trump’s war never had a purpose or plan, and every day more innocent people suffer and lose their lives because of this madman’s whims. All of this is truly devastating,” Ansari said in a message on X.
Recent reports indicate that four to five civilians, including children, were martyred in this crime and dozens of others were injured. Iranian authorities have announced the number of injured as high as 68.
Ansari had previously called Trump’s war against Iran illegal and lacking a clear strategy, and warned about the harm caused to civilians.
