Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Talat Bek Masadikov said the organization’s member states had agreed on a list of equipment needed to strengthen the Afghan-Tajik border.
He added that the first shipments of equipment will likely be delivered to Tajikistan this fall.
In an interview with TASS, Ma Sadikov said that current measures to secure the Afghan-Tajik border are not sufficient, and strengthening this border is important for all members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
