Leader of the Alternative for Germany party: No more new Afghans will enter Germany
Alice Weidel, leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, has claimed that if the party’s desired policies are implemented, no new Afghans will enter Germany and Syrian refugees will be returned to their country.
Weidel criticized the process of granting citizenship to approximately 1.3 million Syrian citizens in Germany, saying that the reason for continuing this process, given previous promises about the return of refugees after the reasons for their flight are eliminated, must be clarified.
The leader of the Alternative for Germany party has emphasized that, according to him, the promise to return refugees after the reasons for fleeing have not been fulfilled and that Germany’s immigration policies require fundamental change. The Alternative for Germany party has long called for stricter immigration policies and mass deportations of refugees.
