The General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces has announced that its forces have regained control of the cities of Bara, Jabra Al-Sheikh, and Umm Siala after clashes with the Emirati-backed Rapid Reaction Forces.
According to the statement, the operation was carried out after heavy clashes with the rapid reaction forces.
According to the Sudanese army, the liberated cities are located on important transportation routes in Kordofan state, and their recapture has cut off the main supply and logistical routes of the rapid reaction forces.
