Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that his country’s forces have targeted a Russian warship and a number of ships used to transport military cargo related to Iran in the Caspian Sea.
Zelensky claimed in a message on the social network X today, without providing further details, that Ukraine’s long-range attacks in the Caspian Sea had yielded “very important results.”
The Ukrainian president also claimed that among the targets of the attacks were ships used to transport military cargo related to Iran.
So far, Russian and Iranian officials have not responded to this claim, and Ukraine has not released further details.
