US President Donald Trump once again criticized the manner in which American troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan, saying that the Joe Biden administration had left a large amount of American military equipment in the country.
Trump stated at a rally that his administration had made the largest investment in history in the US armed forces, but this equipment was abandoned during the withdrawal from Afghanistan and, according to him, was handed over to the Taliban Islamic Emirate and Afghanistan.
He also emphasized that aircraft and other military equipment should have been withdrawn from Afghanistan and described the process of withdrawing American troops as “regrettable.”
