According to local media reports, the Al-Zawiya power plant in western Libya was targeted by a drone attack on Wednesday morning, causing a fire in the facility.
This attack took place while parts of the oil facilities and fuel tanks in the Al-Zawiya complex had previously been targeted by drone attacks.
The Libyan Electricity Company has announced that the attack on the power station south of Zawiya has caused a complete blackout and disrupted energy supply in large areas south of the city.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
