Netblocks has announced that its live indicators indicate a relative return of internet connectivity in Iran after a long period of widespread disruption and restrictions. According to the report, some access to international networks has been restored.
Netblocks added that the development occurred after approximately 2,093 hours of widespread disruption, and has been described as the longest nationwide internet outage in modern history.
However, the institution emphasized that it is not yet clear whether this relative return will be sustainable.
