US night attack on vessels south of Lark, CENTCOM claims responsibility
Local sources have reported that last night, American fighter jets targeted several vessels south of Lark Island in the Strait of Hormuz. According to these reports, a number of Iranian citizens died as a result of these attacks.
Following this incident, CENTCOM claimed responsibility for the attacks and announced that the operation was carried out in the form of “self-defense.”
A CENTCOM spokesman told Fox News that US forces in southern Iran had targeted missile launch sites and ships that he said were likely laying mines.
CENTCOM also emphasized that these strikes were carried out simultaneously with the negotiations process and within the framework of “protecting the security of American forces,” and that these forces will remain in a defensive position.
