For the second time in the past 24 hours, a US Air Force F-35A Lightning fighter jet transmitted emergency code 7700 while flying over the Sea of Oman.
According to reports, the fighter jet changed its course after declaring a state of emergency and made an emergency landing at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.
Further details about the reason for issuing the emergency code and the technical condition of the fighter jet have not yet been released.
