Hundreds of people have been displaced after a fire destroyed about 200 homes in a coastal village in Malaysia’s Sabah state on Sunday, state news agency Bernama reported.
According to Sandakan Fire and Rescue Service chief Jimmy Lagong, authorities were notified of the fire at around 1:32 a.m. (5:32 GMT).
