Egypt, Algeria sign memorandum of understanding for crude oil purchase
Egypt’s Ministry of Oil has announced that the country has signed a memorandum of understanding with Algeria to purchase crude oil.
According to the ministry’s statement, Egyptian Oil Minister Karim Badawi and Algerian Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab were present at the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding in Algiers.
This memorandum of understanding was signed between the Egyptian General Petroleum Organization and the Algerian state-owned company Sonatrach.
