Mullah Baradar: Sanctions will not hinder investment in Afghanistan
Mullah Abdul Ghani, the brother of Akhund, the deputy prime minister’s economic minister, said the world should adopt appropriate economic and political policies instead of imposing sanctions on Afghanistan.
He added that global sanctions cannot hinder investment in Afghanistan or weaken the country’s economy.
Mullah Baradar emphasized that in order to achieve economic growth, it is necessary to pay attention to domestic production instead of foreign imports.
He also said that establishing a cement factory in Jawzjan is a step towards strengthening domestic production and reducing dependence on imports.
According to him, the Islamic Emirate’s focus is on the effective use of domestic resources and the establishment of factories for the economic development of the country.
