A Russian media outlet has reported that infrastructure work on the Afghan section of the CASA-1000 energy transmission project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2027.
Based on this report, the Tajik Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, after consultative meetings with Afghan officials and the contracting company, announced that the project will be put into commercial operation in the summer of 2027.
