US President Donald Trump announced that the next meeting with Iran could take place as early as next week and that he would go directly to Pakistan if an agreement is reached.
Trump once again emphasized that he will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon because then the whole world would face problems.
He claimed that Iran had agreed not to have nuclear weapons, describing this as “good news.”
The US President announced the possibility of extending the ceasefire with Iran and said that the agreement would be extended if necessary.
Trump added that if an agreement is reached, “very good things will happen and the relationship between the two sides could become very good and incredible; he assessed the chances of reaching an agreement as “high.”
He also reported two “very good” phone calls with the Lebanese president and the Israeli prime minister, and said he was scheduled to meet with them.
