In a serious accident in the state of Mexico, a national electric bus on line 11 crashed into a lamppost while entering the La Covadonga station.
Initial reports indicate that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
The accident resulted in injuries to about 20 people who were treated by paramedics and transported to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Emergency personnel, including the Red Cross and Civil Protection, were on the scene and authorities are investigating the cause of the incident
