Trend News reported, citing its sources, that the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Iran has resumed its activities.
The Azerbaijani embassy statement said that the embassy will initially operate with a limited number of diplomatic and administrative staff, including the ambassador.
Due to security and organizational issues, it is planned that the embassy’s activities will be regulated in stages.
It is worth noting that the resumption of the activities of the Azerbaijani embassy takes place shortly after the cessation of the military invasion of Iranian territory and the announcement of a two-week ceasefire between Tehran and Washington.
