The 36th Asian Football Confederation Congress was held with the presence of Afghan representatives

The 36th annual congress of the Asian Football Confederation was held in Vancouver with the presence of Mohammad Yousuf Kargar, President of the Afghanistan Football Federation, and Bahram Seddiqi, Secretary General of the federation.

At this meeting, football development plans in Asia, technical and financial reports, and ways to strengthen sports infrastructure were examined.

Asian Football Confederation officials have also emphasized support for educational and infrastructure projects in Afghanistan and announced the participation of Afghan coaches in training workshops in 2026.
