Farewell meeting of the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General in Afghanistan with Amir Khan Muttaqi
Andrika Ra Tuate, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Humanitarian Coordinator, met with Amir Khan Muttaqi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a farewell meeting.
In the meeting, which was also attended by Georgette Gagnon, Acting Head of UNAMA and Head of the Political Department of this organization, the two sides discussed the existing cooperation, coordination, and relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the United Nations-affiliated agencies.
The Foreign Minister, while appreciating Andrika Ra Towate’s effective role in coordinating humanitarian affairs in Afghanistan, wished her success in her future missions.
Mr. Ra Tuate also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his mission and said that his mission in Afghanistan was accompanied by valuable experiences and good memories.
