US Army prepares Apache attack helicopters for Middle East

New images and reports from the Middle East region show that US Army pilots and technical crews are preparing AH-64 Apache attack helicopters to fly missions.

Apache helicopters are one of the most powerful Close Air Support platforms available to American forces and have played a key role in various regional operations.

These helicopters have recently been used in attacks against targets attributed to terrorist groups in eastern Syria and are capable of carrying out precision reconnaissance missions and direct support for ground forces.

Equipped with Hellfire guided missiles, M230 30mm Hydra rockets, and advanced thermal and laser imaging sensors, the Apache has very high offensive power and can operate at night and in adverse weather conditions.

The increase in the activity of these helicopters in the region is occurring at a time when military tensions and the presence of American forces in the Middle East continue.
