Al-Akhbariya :Saudi Arabia’s patience with the UAE is over, Riyadh will not hesitate to act as a deterrent
Al-Ikhbariya, the official Saudi media outlet, issued a strong warning to the United Arab Emirates in a report, announcing that Riyadh’s patience with Abu Dhabi’s actions had run out.
According to this network, Saudi Arabia will not hesitate to take any necessary measures and decisions to deter what it calls “movements that violate the national security of the UAE.”
Al-Ikhbariya accused the UAE of having a direct role in destabilizing southern Yemen, citing as evidence, among other things, supporting the escape of Aidarus al-Zubaidi, the head of the Southern Yemeni Transitional Council, providing financial and media assistance to incite public opinion against Saudi Arabia and supporting destabilizing groups in southern Yemen.
This warning comes as hidden tensions between the two Persian Gulf countries have increased in recent years over Yemen, economic competition, and regional influence.
