The arrival of the second wave of freedom ships in Tunisia was met with a wide public welcome

The second wave of ships of the “Global Fleet of Endurance”, which is on its way to break the siege of Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to the region, arrived at the port of Tunis on Wednesday and was met with an enthusiastic welcome by the people of the country.

This maritime convoy, consisting of dozens of ships carrying humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, and medical equipment, and attended by hundreds of human rights activists from 44 countries, set off from the port of Barcelona, ​​Spain.

According to international media reports, the people of Tunisia welcomed the convoy by raising Palestinian flags and chanting slogans in support of the people of Gaza.

The flotilla, described as the largest naval effort to break the 17-year siege of Gaza, aims to draw global attention to the humanitarian crisis in the region and pressure the Israeli regime to end the siege.

The ships of this convoy are scheduled to depart from Tunisia, along with ships from Algeria, Libya, and Mauritania, towards Gaza.
