US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that new weapons would be sent to Ukraine and warned that countries that buy Russian oil would face sanctions if a peace deal is not reached.
According to Reuters, Trump told reporters in a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office of the White House that he was disappointed with Russian President Vladimir Putin and that the United States would send billions of dollars in weapons to support Ukraine.
