US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his German counterpart Johannes Wade-Poel discussed Iran, the war in Ukraine, and Beijing’s actions in a meeting in Washington, DC.
US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said Rubio and Wade-Pool discussed US-German cooperation on key issues, including ending the Russia-Ukraine war, containing China’s destabilizing actions, and ensuring that Iran does not develop or acquire nuclear weapons.
