News sources reported Thursday night that there was a violent clash between Israeli police and angry Israeli demonstrators in Tel Aviv.
The demonstration took place after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appointed David Zinni to replace Ronen Bar as the new head of the Shin Bet.
Netanyahu announced the appointment of Zini as the new head of the Shin Bet on Thursday, contrary to the decision of Chief Justice Gali Baharu Meara.
The regime’s radio and television organization announced in a report that Netanyahu’s action is contrary to the Supreme Court’s ruling, because the prime minister currently does not have the authority to appoint a replacement for Ronen Bar until the investigation into the reason for his resignation is completed.
