Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Futsal Cooperation between Afghanistan and Indonesia to be Signed Soon
The Afghan and Indonesian futsal committees are set to sign a bilateral cooperation memorandum of understanding to expand sports relations and create new opportunities for Afghan players.
Ahmadullah Wasiq, the head of the country’s sports department, met and discussed with Mikael Victor Sinipar, the head of the Indonesian Futsal Committee, during his official visit to Indonesia, which coincided with the Asian Cup.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in providing sports facilities for Afghan players and students in Indonesia, as well as expanding relations between the futsal committees of the two countries.
According to the country’s Sports Administration’s newsletter, paving the way for Afghan futsal players to participate in Indonesian futsal leagues is one of the main focuses of these talks, and the signing of a bilateral cooperation memorandum is on the agenda.
