Head of Iranian Embassy in Kabul: Strengthening borders is a factor in strengthening comprehensive relations between Iran and AFG

Ali Reza Bekdali, the acting head of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, met and held talks with Noorullah Noori, Minister of Borders and Tribes of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in strengthening and managing common borders.

Bekdali emphasized that this cooperation not only contributes to better border security and control, but is also an important factor in strengthening and consolidating comprehensive relations between Iran and Afghanistan.

This meeting took place at a time when the two neighboring countries have emphasized in recent years the expansion of border cooperation in combating illegal immigration smuggling and the security of border areas.
