American Defense Secretary Pete Higgsitt says that returning Ukraine to the pre-2014 borders is an imaginary goal and the country’s membership in NATO is not a solution to end the war.
At the NATO meeting in Brussels, he emphasized that Ukraine’s attempt to regain the lost areas will only prolong the war and increase the losses.
Mr. Higgsit also asked NATO allies to focus more on European security; Because, according to him, America has more important priorities, including securing its borders and dealing with China’s threats.
