Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned on Monday evening that if the United States resumes nuclear tests, Moscow will retaliate in the same way.
In his speech at the Valdai International Forum, Ryabkov emphasized that recent US actions in the strategic sphere reflect the Pentagon’s efforts to achieve decisive military superiority.
He also called US plans to deploy tracking systems in Earth orbit equivalent to weaponizing space and warned that these actions would further destabilize global security.
Ryabkov added that Russia is ready to ensure its national security through military-technical countermeasures if necessary.
