Germany’s interior ministry on Wednesday banned a Hamburg-based Islamic center accused of promoting the ideology of Iran’s leadership and supporting Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

Reuters, quoting the ministry, reported that 53 buildings of this organization were inspected by the authorities in eight German states earlier today (Wednesday, 26th July) with a court order.

The report states that four Shiite mosques will be closed.
