A forest fire that has been raging for several weeks in a large protected area in Serbia forced a number of residents to flee their homes on Thursday.
Serbian state media reported that rescue workers were working to contain the fire, and that Russia had also sent a water-spraying plane to assist in the firefighting operation.
The fire has spread to parts of the protected area and operations to contain it are ongoing.
