Trump claims he called off attack on Iran to reach deal

US President Donald Trump, after recent threats against Iran on the social network Truth Social, claimed that he had decided to cancel the attack.

While praising America’s military power, Trump claimed that Iran and some regional countries have demanded a halt to any attacks within the framework of an agreement.

He also claimed that the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the end of what he called “Iran’s nuclear threat” were among the pillars of this understanding, adding that for the “future interests of the world” and “the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran,” he agreed to cancel the attack, provided that an agreement was reached quickly.
