The Iraqi Islamic Resistance issued a statement announcing that it had given the Iraqi government until August 6 to demonstrate its ability to respond to what it called “aggression,” emphasizing that this event was a test for the government’s policy of monopolizing weapons.
The statement said that a response to the United States was inevitable and that Saudi Arabia may also be targeted if the conditions on the ground warrant it.
The Iraqi Islamic Resistance also announced that it had postponed the response to these attacks until after the end of the Arbaeen pilgrimage ceremony for Imam Hussein (AS).
