22 Iranian crew members of an oil tanker that was seized by the United States in international waters were transferred to the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi Port, with the follow-up of the Iranian Embassy and the cooperation of the Pakistani government.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister has announced that these individuals are in complete health after arriving in Karachi and that the necessary arrangements for their quick and safe return to Iran are being finalized.
He also said that Pakistan has been in contact with Iranian and American officials throughout this process and has facilitated the return of more than 70 Iranian nationals in the past two months.
