US issues license to export Iranian oil and petrochemical products until August 2026

The United States Treasury Department announced that a license has been issued, under which Iran can sell its crude oil, petrochemicals, and other petroleum products until August 21, 2026.

Based on this, the aforementioned license declaration covers the export of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products, and petroleum products and will be valid until August 21, 2026.

The US Treasury Department has also announced that imports of Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals, and petroleum products into the US will also be permitted under this license.

This action is taking place while, based on Article 10 of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States, Washington has committed to issue the necessary licenses for the export of crude oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, along with related services, including banking, insurance and transportation transactions, simultaneously with the signing of this Memorandum and until the end of sanctions.
