Iranian representative: Arab countries should pay compensation instead of complaining
Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, explained Tehran’s official positions in response to a joint letter from several Arab countries.
He announced that countries such as Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Jordan have participated in attacks against Iran by providing military bases on their territory.
The Iranian representative emphasized that these countries must assume full responsibility for compensating for the damages caused to Iran.
Iravani also clarified that Iran exercised its legitimate right to self-defense based on the UN Charter and did not initiate the conflict.
He added that countries that allowed the use of their airspace, territorial waters, and soil to attack Iran are responsible and must be held accountable.
