Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a press conference with his Kazakh counterpart that the operations of the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran have seriously affected the Caspian Sea basin.
He also emphasized that without addressing the root causes of the crisis, it will not be possible for Ukraine to achieve a sustainable and long-term solution.
Lavrov added that Moscow is interested in resuming negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict based on the understandings reached with the United States.
He expressed hope that the agreements reached in Alaska would be implemented.
The Russian Foreign Minister further emphasized the need to pay attention to the situation in Lebanon as well as the issue of the formation of a Palestinian state.
