In his speech at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities as one of the easiest decisions of his term as prime minister, claiming that the regime had defended itself and other countries by taking this action.
Netanyahu also claimed that a number of leaders of countries that publicly criticize Israel have praised the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities in private conversations.
In another part of his speech to Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, he made statements about the Golan Heights, saying that Jews have been present in the region since the time of Prophet Moses.
The beginning of Netanyahu’s speech was met with protests and boos from a number of attendees, and dozens of delegations left the General Assembly hall before his speech began. In response to this action, Netanyahu asked the remaining attendees to leave the hall if they wished.
