Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in China on an official visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
Lavrov will meet and hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Pang Yi in Beijing.
The main topics of the talks will include strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation between Russia and China, the situation in the war in Ukraine, and developments in the Middle East, including recent tensions.
This visit is part of the two countries’ efforts to coordinate positions on international and regional issues.
