Lebanese health sources announced that four people were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a point at the Ramada Hotel located in the Hay al-Rasheh area of Beirut.
The attack, which took place on Sunday morning (8th of March), destroyed part of the hotel building and caused a fire. Rescue teams and firefighters are currently extinguishing the fire and searching for people trapped under the rubble.
No further details have been released about the identities of the martyrs or the exact objectives of the attack, but local sources describe it as part of the Zionist regime’s repeated attacks on residential and civilian areas in Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the country’s official authorities have strongly condemned this crime and promised a decisive response.
