AFF ‘s success at the AFC meeting: Contracts for the reconstruction and construction of several football fields were awarded

Yousef, the acting president of the Afghanistan Football Federation and a member of the FIFA Technical and Development Committee, achieved important achievements at the official meeting of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in Malaysia.

According to official sources, the Afghan Football Federation succeeded in approving contracts for the reconstruction of two important football fields in Herat and Ghazni provinces, and the project to build a new sports field in Logar province was also approved.

In addition, the project to build several mini-football fields in Kandahar and Balkh provinces has reached its final stage and will be implemented soon.

Discussions are also underway to build a new stadium in Badakhshan province and to renovate the Kabul stadium, and good progress has been made in this regard.

These achievements have been achieved at a time when Afghanistan’s sports infrastructure is facing serious problems due to years of war and lack of funding, and many football fields and stadiums are in dire need of renovation or new construction.
